Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens.
A correction to your brief synopsis. This synposis refers to Puerto Ricans as immigrants. This is incorrect since they have been U.S. citizens and have been since 1917. Puerto Ricans can move freely within the U.S., they do not immigrate. Please correct it since it unwittingly promotes the stereotype of Puerto Ricans as foreigners.
Great movie, wrong spelling
This movie was hilarious! I just resent that it was spelled "Popi". That's not how we spell that name. We spell it in Spanish like this: Papi. In Spanish, "Popi" would be pronounced as if the "o" was like the "au" in "pauper". The correct spelling is PAPI. Get it right, people!
When i watche this movie, i loved it. Its really touching how the father tries to provide a better future for his two sons, even if it means giving them up. I was also suprised how no one screamed when they saw the boys naked so many times, in today's histerical society, everyone would be crying child abuse.I sincerely recommend this movie for the whole family.
