    To the cinematology people involved in this movie. You knew when to use minimal contrast of B&W film. You knew when to maximise the contrast of B&W film. Regardless of all other movie characteristics, this is a very great B & W movie. Ansel Adams and George Hurrell envied every scene.

    On top of this being one of the most amazingly shot films, it also contains one of the most unforgetable on-screen performances by Robert De Niro
