- Anton V,
WIG is classic Rathbone and Bruce but the interaction and British humor is missing without Denis Hoey. But, I'm more interested in the music. Does anyone know the name of the music that was played to hypnotize Sir George and Holmes?

Kind of a tired, paint by the numbers exercise as befits the tenth sequel to a good but not great original. Very little of interest here except for some occasional amusing byplay between Holmes and Watson. No wonder Rathbone bailed on the whole thing soon after this one came and went. Give it a C minus. P.S. Holmes without cocaine is like Doc Holliday sans cough.
nigel bruce..serial killer
the man who played sherlock holmes was a great acting talent.not his best story to be in still..an alright story to watch at some point during a day.the supporting cast does their part. the people behind the scenes do their part too. one thought ..nigel bruce would have been unexpectedly good if he could have played a serial killer with his style of watson in a movie story.
Sherlock Holmes Serial Always Welcome
So glad 4 titles in public domain.Agree,Rathbone practical joker, appreciated by those he worked with.He & Bruce as a combo can't be beat-could tell they were good friends.Still don't understand Rathbone's saying Daniell best Moriarty!Loved Zucco best!
Love that man
While never showing aspects of Holmes' drug taking, this man is my favorite Holmes, followed by Peter Cushing!Loved hearing about his clowning, knew he was a practical joker.
