Very sweet story, wish I'd seen it before, but definitely is a Holiday Picture

Okay, it is a somewhat hokey story. Except for Durante and the squirrel, the acting occasionally drags. But 'Jingle Bells' will never seem the same after Durante's one-of-a-kind variation. And who would have thought to compose music for harp and tuba? On the whole the production was cute and enjoyable. It is a keeper.

How could this be the first time I have ever heard of or seen this movie at 58 years young!?!? Just like White Christmas, It's Wonderful Life or Christmas Story......this is a holiday must see. I'm purchasing this one immediately!

  • Should Be A Christmas Classic !

This film should be a Christmas Classic. A family, down on their luck, saved by a squirrel at Christmas time, and they Share all their gains with others. A very, very, feel good, happy, cute movie. I'm not sure if Rupert the Squirril is from George Pal, but it's a classic, none-the-less.

Very much liked the story and Jimmy Durante in a leading role is rare. Best supporting role goes to Rupert though, you just gotta love the lil critter.
