This version of Little Men was terrible, and did not follow the original plot of the book at all. The first 30 minutes of the movie fabricated a needless story to introduce the plot of the movie, which downgraded the entire film in my opinion. I was hoping for a movie that followed the adventures of the boys in the Plumfield school, much more similar to the book written by Louisa May Alcott. This wasn't so with the movie, and instead, another whole plot was concocted for the movie, using the same character names. I did not like the man who played the Professor, Jo's husband. For some reason, he was written as a Swedish character, instead of German, like he was supposed to be (from the book). Kay Francis played Jo, and even though I generally enjoy her movies, I just didn't like her acting in Little Men. Overall, I didn't enjoy this movie, nor would I recommend it.
