Why pan and scan?

Why is this shown in a 4:3 pan-and-scan format? According to IMDB, it was filmed in 2.35:1!!

What A Dud!

An all-star cast is wasted in this piece of junk by a mediocre director. Although there certainly are exceptions, I'm generally weary of directors who use their own scripts because can be too adoring of them to make changes that might be needed and this is a perfect example. I was expecting more since the source material was by Richard Condon (The Manchurian Candidate), but this is simply a fictionalization of the various Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories. The film's ending leaves me only with the conclusion that I have completely wasted my time. Plus, whoever gave this picture a TV-G rating needs to find another job because there is too much sex and partial nudity in this film for the kiddies.

Dreadful

Absolute garbage. A ridiculous plot compounded by horrible cliched dialogue. An all star cast sleepwalks thru this nonsense. My theory is Oliver Stone watched this movie before making JFK to see exactly how NOT to make a conspiracy film. Proof once again an all star cast will usually make a horrible movie. Pure drivel.
