Victor Mature as Tony ,one of Victors best. I had no idea what to expect, when he sees the girl and walks toward her, and the rest you have to see for yourself. I fell over laughing. Brilliant. Reminded me of Charlie Chaplin at the wharf about to board the cruise boat. You just don't know what is coming. There seems to have emerged over the years, a hand full of actors who found out late, sadly, that they had a knack for comedy .Leslie Neilson ,Robert Stack, and here is Victure Mature lampooning himself. What a great sport he was, realizing the old days were over for him and yet having such a great time with this part.Peter sellers saves this mystery? by turning it into a comedy.

Actually liked Peter in this one,and always had thought him overrated.LANDO-what a HUNK!See Wiki for 2009 photo of him-still gorgeous.Really liked Victor Mature in this film-think he deserves more credit for his acting-love his comment to Jim Backus on The Robe.Made up for no more Carry On films being shown.

The first time I saw this movie I was 13 years old. My parents, my sister and myself went to see it at the drive-in. Remember those? We never laughed so much. It is a wonderful move. One of Peter Sellers Best! It needs to be on DVD so it can be enjoyed by everyone who loves a good laugh!

The Movie AFTER THE FOX should have been Comedy not drama besides Peter Sellers is a funny guy that catches a lot of bad guys.

Amusing, but a little too silly at times. The cast is great, especially Victor Mature hamming it up. Peter Sellers is usually worth watching. Nice location filming.
