Loved this movie-Divorce
- Erika Bacote
The movie was so politically incorrect from the moment it started it was awesome. I watch these movies from a purist's standpoint and love that they had no shame in what they said about race, war and the empathy of the wife done wrong.
This may be the worst movie I have ever seen...
Casting flaw doomed this one ...
Interesting little quicky of a movie, but wholly unbelievable on various levels, the foremost of which being that ANY man would ditch the wholesome yet alluring Helen Mack for Kay Francis. Had Kay Francis (who also produced with her husband) not put herself in that role, it possibly could have risen above an at-times cheesy script and hit some poignant notes. As it was, the short run time combined with the aforementioned implausibility of choosing Francis over Mack made this more a PSA against divorce than any sort of believable dramatic experience.
