Catch 22 and M*A*S*H Double Feature
- Bruce Reber
- 4/5/13
Hey TCM, how about showing both "Catch 22" and "M*A*S*H" back to back sometime. These are two of the definitive anti-war satire/comedies ever made, and they both came out in 1970 at the height of the Vietnam war. Both films blend dark comedy and drama, feature all-star casts playing weird and wacky characters, and show the futility and insanity of war and the psychological effect on all those involved. These are two films that should be added to your lineup TCM. KUTGW!!! Bruce Reber, loyal TCM fan since 2001.
