Mediocre, vanilla western with a flat screenplay by David Dortort (the creator of "Bonanza," thus the vanilla) and Martin Rackin and some decent action sequences from director Gordon Douglas. There are some interesting (especially for 1957) intimations of a gay relationship between Alan Ladd and Edmund O' Brien (i.e. Virginia Mayo asks Laddd "What Kind of man are you?" and he replies "Alone until I met your brother") but they are soon dispelled by the nubile form of Mayo. Solid C.
