What the Sun is to the solar system this movie is to the Elvis screen legend. The King is all shook up and all of his horses and all of his men can't get him together again. And why would they want to? There aren't enough Oscars for a movie this great. Sidney should have won the Nobel Prize for discovering: EP AM = WOW!!!.

The best film starring the King of Rock 'n' Roll. Presley is matched in charisma & sexuality by Ann-Margret, creating an often-hyped romance between the two. The title song is one of Presley's best & Ann's song's are good too, however the story isn't engaging. Overall, a fine musical for that will be remembered as Presley's best. I give it a 3.5/5.

this movie was the best of Elvis's dancing and really swinging with Ann-Margret. Lots of fun and a pair that was in tune with each other. Good racing and plot.

"Viva Las Vegas" (1964), starring Elvis Presley and Ann Margret has to be my all-time favorite Elvis film. Race car driver Lucky (Elvis) meets beautiful swimming instructor Rusty (Ann Margret), and from then on the sparks fly as they sing and dance their way through this lively and energetic musical set in Las Vegas. We get to see Vegas as it was in the 1960's, when it really was the swinging fun capital of the world. Today, the complexion of Vegas has totally changed, going from a glitzy gambling Mecca of casinos and other sources of fun to a family-friendly resort, with theme parks and many other amenities they couldn't have dreamed of 50 years ago. Elvis and Ann Margret are the perfect pair, and in "Viva Las Vegas" he has much more chemistry with her than with any other leading lady in any of his other films. I'm surprised that I'm posting the very first review - c'mon all you fellow Elvis fans out there, I'm sure there's a lot of you that'll agree that "Viva Las Vegas" is your favorite Elvis film too!
