Drags at times. After all the hype I was disappointed in this movie. I liked watching Albert Dekker, Frank Morgan, Marjorie Main and Claire Trevor more than the leads. One day when I was in high school and we were on a field trip, I was standing in the outer lobby of Grauman's Chinese, and I was approached by Chill Wills. We spoke for a few minutes, he gave me a postcard featuring himself as a cowboy with the saying "I'll be cogitatin' about you." And he kissed me on the cheek. This was in 1969. Sweet man.

Starts slowly but by the time Gable plants the third kiss on Lana the heat is on.
Este filme muito bom e alm do mais divertido. Um clssico de Clark Gable e Lana que mostraram muita qumica no filme. Deveria ser exibido neste 50 anos sem Clark Gable por ser um timo filme.
I love this classic. It is very entertaining and the chemistry between Clark and Lana is fabulous. There is an allstar cast and I can't wait until this one is on DVD so that I can own it. Frank Morgan does a wonderful job playing the father and Margorie Main is marvelous as the housekeeper. This is a must see movie. The story definitely holds your interest.
