Watched this for the first time the other night on TCM. Didn't know I was watching the legendary Ramn Novarro until the credits scrolled at the end.I couldn't take my eyes off the magnificent Novarro with co-stars, Enid Benett and Wallce Beery also giving stellar performances. Can't imagine a re-make outshining this tragic story of ill-fated lovers, albeit with another happier twist of fate ending. A gem of an packed thriller-romantic movie.

I love silent films and I loved this one as I watched on my TiVO recording (since I was working that night). But, alas, the station did not allow enough time, officially, and the end was cut off. Another viewer had the same comment on IMDb. I have looked for a DVD, but can't find one. I have asked TCM's partner, Flicker Alley, to get it if they can, so that us fans could get it in our collections. I wish that TCM would have a source reference for its movies, so that us viewers could get DVDs, also. Tragic tale.

Being A Huge Fan Of Comedy and Horror Silent Movies. I was very impressed with this movie. My wife, Who I Brainwashed into watching Silent Movies, would have enjoyed this movie. Please, let me know when you are planning to show this movie again. That I may record it on TiVo.

Life is so unpredictable that it can change the lives, plans, hopes, and dreams of two young lovers. A heart breaking story has a happy ending.
