Wholesome entertainment, when people had to have talent to make films where the whole family could view. Norman Taurog directs this beloved Garland/Rooney vehicle, with lesser talent would hardly be watchable, but with the effervescent talents of Rooney/Garland is delightful magic filled musical collaboration of the wonderful kind. Truly fun as Easterner Mickey tries to conquer the West/Judy who is her own woman. Enjoy many dance filled song numbers guaranteed to keep your feet tapping . Highly recommended. 5 stars. Every one earned.

This is such a fun musical comedy. The teaming of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney is always a delight. They make such a great pairing. Lively, entertaining with some great songs, and Judy singing too!

Judy and Mickey's final full length film together. This time round he chases her and she's having none of it! Contains a wonderful Gershwin score with some of Judy's finest singing plus the "I Got Rhythm" finale. Who could ask for anything more.....

Again, Mickey and Judy make magic. bouncing their characters so well off of each other, in what was their last full length film together, this is a great peice of work. Another remake well done by Garland. She looks absolutley beautiful in this picture, and her acting was picture perfect. Judys voice was at its prime in this fil, and it show with all the great numbers in the film, leading up to the I Got Rhythm final number. Overall, Great film.
