  • Amazing python footage

I imagine the animal rights activists would be really upset with this film, but the footage is gold. The scenes of the huge python attacking a crocodile and then a tiger were just unbelievable if you didn't see it. And the accidental capture of the python when it slithered into a pig's cage, swallowed the pig, then couldn't get out of the cage was almost funny. I had no idea that pythons could be so aggressive and persistent! Some of the other scenes were quite comical and tho I felt sorry for some of the critters, most of the capture techniques looked humane. I'd like to see the film again as it came on at an inconvenient time.

i refuse to believe maltin only gave this 2.5 stars, what was he thinking?. "1941" for crying out loud! they went into the jungle with what,a very old projector and had to dub in growls made by man, how cool was that!, it was the very best they could do and now today they give it 2.5 stars, give me a break. can we not enjoy what they did back then for what it was or does it have to meet our standards of today. any way this short they showed in the movies thrilled me to no end with the footage of animals really battleing each other. to me the highlight of the whole thing was the battle of the bengal tiger and the python, this is what i tell every one it "the battle of the TITANS" and not the hollywood version.8 stars here!!!!
