  • Happy birthday to Sybil

I had never seen any of Sybil's movies till this 80th birthday tribute. Thanks TCM. I think 'Stella Parish' is my favorite...the story sort of draws you in and is very poignant. Kay Francis is excellent as the actress mother who travels incognito with her daughter, played by Sybil Jason. The two seem very believable as mother and daughter and their acting styles really complement each other. I am looking forward to seeing them together in 'Comet Over Broadway' which will be broadcast in January. This was a treat!

I enjoyed the movie theme, the costumes ,Make-up the setting and the motifs. I would recommend this movie to be viewed during a day of relxation.I was able to find everything about this movie with theexception of who wrote it. Why isn't the writer in the credits?
