Synopsis
Les Martin is a loser who goes to a museum one day and finds himself moved by a Vermeer painting. Without thinking, he grabs the picture and runs out of the museum before anyone can stop him. Not knowing what to do with the thing, Les tells his wife Ray that he picked it up at a yard sale. As news of the daring theft spreads over the Northwest, it becomes obvious to all the Les has the painting. When the media announces that a terrorist group has claimed responsibility, Les begins to write his own manifestos.
