Throughout his Hollywood career, Dobie Gray had a variety of powerful musical performances. Early in his entertainment career, Gray's music was featured in films like the Richard Grand drama "The Commitment" (1976) and "Casey's Shadow" (1978) with Walter Matthau. His music was also used in "Heartbreak Hotel" (1988) with David Keith and the Stuart Townsend dramatic adaptation "Resurrection Man" (2000). Gray's music was most recently featured in "Invincible" (2006). Gray passed away in December 2011 at the age of 71.
