When a Midwest town learns that a corrupt railroad baron has captured the deeds to their homesteads without their knowledge, a group of young ranchers join forces to take back what is rightfully theirs. In the course of their vendetta, they become the object of the biggest manhunt in the history of the Old West and, as their fame grows, so will the legend of their leader, a young outlaw by the name of Jesse James.

Minute-by-minute account of the moments leading up to the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, from the perspective of Lincoln and his murderer, John Wilkes Booth. On April 14, 1865, Abraham Lincoln met with his cabinet and signed an executive order lifting the blockade of the South. That evening, he took wife Mary Todd Lincoln to see a new play, "Our American Cousin," at Ford's Theatre in downtown Washington. While watching the play, he was shot and mortally wounded by John Wilkes Booth, an actor and Southern patriot. Also recreates Booth's dash for freedom and the showdown that ended in his death.
