Betsy Jones-Moreland was born 'Mary Elizabeth Jones' on April 1st, 1930 in Brooklyn N.Y.. She said she never wanted to be an actress, but took acting lessons to overcome shyness, which led to a job as a show girl. This led to a role in Broadway's hit "The Solid Gold Cadillac", that landed her in California where she found work at Columbia Pictures. This led her to bigger roles in Roger Corman movies such as "The Saga of the Viking Women"(1958), "The Last Woman on Earth"(1960), and "Creature from the Haunted Sea"(1961) as well as other films. Betsy also appeared on television shows like "Have Gun, Will Travel", "Ironside", and a re-occuring role as 'Judge Harrelson' on "Perry Mason". Betsy died of cancer on May 1st, 2006 in El Monte, California at the age of 76.
