Elsie Janis worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. Janis worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Oh, Kay!" (1928) and "Close Harmony" (1929). Her music was also used in "Racing With the Moon" (1984) with Sean Penn and the Tom Hanks box office smash dramatic adaptation "Forrest Gump" (1994). Janis's music was most recently featured in the Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster biographical drama "The Aviator" (2004).
