In this comedy made up of four segments, a businessman tries to close a deal through the allure of his secretary only to discover that she would be more valuable as a partner. Elsewhere, a chauffeur poses as his boss in order to impress ladies. Meanwhile, a husband arranges an affair when his wife leaves town. Finally, an American psychiatric patient falls for an equally neurotic lady.
A gay couple has to straighten out their act when their son gets engaged to a noted conservative''s daughter.
A movie about a good-for-nothing stuntman called Mike Gaucher (Jean-Paul Belmondo) who can't do one single job without something going wrong. His fiancée wants to kill him, the film studios don't want to give him any more work and, as King Kong for a promotion in a supermarket, he winds up destroying some display shelves. The only role he plays well is pretending not to be able to hear, speak and walk in order to get money from the government. Then along comes the "beautiful" actor called Bruno Ferrari (also played by Jean-Paul Belmondo). Supposedly a fearless stuntman, Ferrari turns out to be afraid of heights once his feet leave the ground. So a stuntman is needed to prevent a scandal. And who is the man who looks most (or exactly) like Bruno? You guessed it, good-for-nothing Mike...

Heading for a newly inherited island, the boys ate shipwrecked and marooned on an atoll which has just emerged from the sea. Along with their cook, a stowaway and a girl who is fleeing her fiance, they set up their own government on the atoll. Uranium is discovered and world powers begin fighting over ownership of the island.
