Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

Tall and handsome with an athletic build, Travis Van Winkle was seemingly created to appear on-screen. By the time he was in his early 20s, he was already acting in film and television. The young actor cut his teeth quickly, scoring roles in a pair of short films as well as guest appearances on the TV sitcoms "Quintuplets" and "Thatâ¿¿s So Raven." And that was just in 2004. Since then, Van Winkle has bounced back and forth between the two media. He was a go-to guy on young adult TV dramas such as "The O.C." (2005) and "90210" (2009), which cast him in a recurring role. He played an actor on the pilot episode of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" (2010), the west coast franchise of the popular crime series. From the beginning og his film career, Van Winkle has often been cast as a young, upright jock. He had a prominent supporting role as a spoilsport student in the 2006 alternative education comedy "Accepted" and played jerky high school athlete Trent DeMarco in Michael Bayâ¿¿s big-budget cartoon adaptation "Transformers" (2007). Fortunately for Trent haters, Van Winkleâ¿¿s unlikable character was ported over to Bayâ¿¿s subsequent remake of the high body count horror film "Friday the 13th" (2009) and...
