  • " The Great Style Of Martha Hyer"

Martha Hyer was one of the most underrated actresses in Hollywood. I especially liked her in "Ice Palace" with Richard Burton and Carolyn Jones. She had very good range as an actress. I saw her on an early episode of " Bewitched" and she was great in a comic role flirting with Dick York. Looks? What can you say? A great beauty on the outside plus great depth on the inside. I'll never understand why she never made it to greater stardom. She would have been wonderful as Marion Crane in "Psycho."

Martha Hyer was the most versatile of the bombshells..Her intelligence burst through the personae of her roles. No wonder the 'vision' of Hollywood became trifling and she chose to live with one of its most creative figures rather than play the 'Career' game of an aging ex-blonde bombshell..Welldone! I wish I'd been Hal Wallis!

Martha Hyer was quite a dish! I enjoyed watching her on the screen. Too bad more of her movies are not available for watching.
