One of the best actors fron the golden era of Hollywood. I also especially like his villan roles, played with gusto and an undercurrent of humor. Check out And Then There Were None (1945) and The Devil And Daniel Webster (1941)

Wonderful, wonderful movie! I'm the living Mr. Dodsworth's love interest in end of the movie! Totally my love's story...minus the obvious filthy riches, although he's pretty well set! I couldn't turn it off this morning. My first time seeing it and will watch it again when I'm able. My all time fav -- The Treasure of the Sierra Madre is fast becoming my number two... Great story! K..

Unbelieveable performance---
- Mr. Sardonicus
- 2008-09-23
Huston's peformance in MGM's "kongo" is something that has to be seen to be believed.. his portrayal of the crippled Flint has yet to be equaled and chalenges even Lon Chaney's performance in the previous version "West of Zanzibar" ... as this film is written for the stage,we are trying to create a stage version of this bizzare story - live production at disney's animal Kingdom... you have to see this film to believe it!!! hopefully the stage version we produce will be equally as good!!---- Sardonicus----

Want to see great acting? Just watch Walter Huston in "Dodsworth" and also in "Treasure Of The Sierra Madre." These are timeless performances which show the range of this great actor. Both films are classics which will never be remade.
