I had the opportunity to witness Annie's evolution as an actor from those marvelous local theatrical and high school performances untill the final curtain of her professional career. To be most cherished are small moments in her work on the stage and on the big and small screens. These gems are found in all her performances, not simply in her most popular films or plays. How wonderful was she at creating a character. No detail in her chracterizations was unimportant. Her magic could be seen in how she would fill a total silence with unspoken eloquence.

  • Praise Anne fairly in her greatest accomplishments

While Anne Bancroft did receive much recognition, which she so richly earned. In my estimation, her accolades were not fairly distributed in that a film as great as " Helen Keller " was shoved out of sight in favor of the more sex oriented " Mrs. Robinson. Will Hollywood never learn to think outside the liberalist box?

To see a young Sidney Poitier, Telly Savelas and beautiful Anne Bancroft held me spellbound. I'm in my 7th decade and just now enjoying these wonderful movies from my youth and young adult years.

Anne Bancroft is a woman that I admire. She was a great acting talent, wife and mother. She gave 110 percent every performance. Bancroft was a class act; she was overall an incredibly lovely person and actress. I can see why Mel Brooks fell in love with her and I am sure still loves her till this day. She is missed and I am quite certain we will never see another human being quite like her! xx

  • Miracle Worker, the best movie ever!

I don't think I have ever seen any movie with more intensity, passion, and love for another human being in my life... You cannot help but let the tears flow as you watch this awesome film, (a real life true story) of Helen Keller. The film is packed full of a wide range of emotions; sadness, joy, hope, peace, love, hate, crying, laughter, and more than anything, compassion. This is what more movies and films need today, films of modern day truth, and of good deeds, and of Godly compassion... Thank God for real people, who live real lives, and who give of themselves to better serve society and their fellow man, just like God originally intented for us to be...
