Those "Gorgeous Blue Eyes"!!

I will never forget that great film, "King of Kings"! I was just 6 years old when my parents took my siblings and I to the Drive-In Movie where it was playing. It was like the eyes of Jesus were looking into my soul and I was so mezmorized by Him. To this day, I can still remember the background music, the scenes of Jesus' miracles, and recall what an impact it made and STILL DOES on my life! I can't wait to watch it again and again...

and a great actor. Afterall, he plalyed Jesus in King of Kings. I loved him in The Searchers and in Red River. He held his own alongside John Wayne. Plus, his eyes were magnificent with that dark hair. He should be more well known.

I saw the movie"Sailor of the King" starring Jeffrey Hunter a long time ago and wish to see it again. He played a great role in a fine film. The story took place on a island and the scenery was beautiful.

Believe it or not I first saw this great actor in Star trek, the Menagerie . I then looked up this man to discover a wonderfully talented man, with so much going for him. One can only wonder as to why he is not now a household name like Fonda Lancaster Wayne etc.. He was such a dynamic & powerful presence on the screen & full of such ability to go with it. Jeffrey was also a sad an tragic person in his later life, with pressure from acting & a downturn in his career he sadly experienced a lot of pain. It was when he finally found someone special in his life that tragedy struck & his affair was cut so short. Jeffrey was a kind & gentle man with none of the arrogance that normally accompanied Hollywood, I feel if things had gone in the right direction for him he would be a name that would trip off the tongue. But I guess we were lucky to have seen his talents on the big screen & shared in this unique mans skill & energy. May his soul dwell in a happier place
