    It intrigued me that another viewer named Kalter likened Ian Hunter to Leslie Howard. I would not have thought of them in tandem; however, I can see the comparison exists. It's a shame Ian Hunter never made it to the primary echelon of leading men because he certainly had the grits for it, but perhaps the cadre of Brits whom Hollywood used were relegated to the 'corps'. Hunter did have that panache which Kalter speaks of, but he also conveyed a prepossessing appearance and impression. Wish we could see more of him.
