It helped propel Eickâ¿¿s career as a television producer going into the 2000s as he became an executive producer on the acclaimed "Cover Me: Based on the True Life of an FBI Family" in 2000. Three years later he began to executive produce the sci-fi mini-series "Battlestar Galactica," which marked the reboot of the franchise on television.
