One of Hollywood's most distinguished editors. Hornbeck began his career with Mack Sennett, worked as head editor for Alexander Korda in England, became part of Frank Capra's Army Signal Corps documentary unit and went on to earn an Academy Award for "A Place in the Sun" (1951).
