Great Actress

Miriam Hopkins was one of the great actresses of the silver screen and should be remembered for her acting range and abilities rather than her "problematic" relationship with Bette Davis. Watch her play the tragic victim in "Dr Jekyll" to the ambitious "Becky Sharp" to the modern (for the time) and liberated Gilda in "Design for Living". She could do it all and do it well. That's why she's my favorite actress. Yay Miriam!

Miriam Hopkins in Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde was the most provacative and sexier roles in movie history. I know this is a strong statement but it was 1932! The way she teases you and shows a lot of skin for this era just blows me away. A great actress whose temper helped and hindered her career, I think she could bring out the HYDE in any man---fix me a tall one.

Miriam Hopkins is a real standout amongst the great actresses of her era. Talented, beautiful, and spirited, I have truly enjoyed each movie I've seen her in so far and hope to come across more of her movies soon.
