Actor Peter Hobbs was known for his roles on the silver screen. Hobbs began his acting career with roles in such films as "The New Interns" (1964), "The Killers" (1964) and the Jack Lemmon comedy "Good Neighbor Sam" (1964). He also appeared in the Sandy Duncan comedy adaptation "Star Spangled Girl" (1971), the comedy "The Steagle" (1971) with Richard Benjamin and the sci-fi feature "The Andromeda Strain" (1971) with Arthur Hill. After that, Hobbs moved on to lend his vocal talents for roles in films like the animated film "Heavy Traffic" (1973) with Joseph Kaufman, the Skip Hinnant animated feature "The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat" (1974) and the Bob Holt animated adventure "Wizards" (1977). In addition to his voice work, he appeared on camera in "Sleeper" (1973) with Woody Allen. During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "The Man With Two Brains" (1983) with Steve Martin, the "The Next One" (1984) film Keir Dullea and the dramatic adaptation "Nickel Mountain" (1985) with Michael Cole. He also appeared in "In the Mood" (1987). He also was featured in the TV movie "Scout's Honor" (NBC, 1980-81). Hobbs more recently acted on "True Colors" (Fox, 1990-92). ...
