Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

A sort of physical good luck charm for Aaron Sorkin, Timothy Davis-Reed is one of the few actors other than Felicity Huffman to have appeared in three of the screenwriter/producer's television projects. He made his onscreen debut playing a pirate on a 1988 episode of the pre-teen sketch comedy show "Square One TV." Aside from a handful of minor motion picture roles, television continued to be the major outlet for Davis-Reed. Among the parts he played was a fencer ("The Equalizer"), a Kyrian spectator ("Star Trek: Voyager"), a customs officer ("Will and Grace"), and an interviewer ("Scrubs"). Sorkin gave Davis-Reed his most substantial roles--as a television tech named Chris ("Sports Night"), White House Press Corps reporter Mark O'Donnell ("The West Wing
