Joey Heatherton's acting career took off when he was just 11 years old. Early on, Heatherton mostly landed roles in various films, including the Richard Chamberlain crime drama "Twilight of Honor" (1963), the crime drama "Where Love Has Gone" (1964) with Susan Hayward and "My Blood Runs Cold" (1965). He also appeared in the TV movie "The Ballad of Andy Crocker" (ABC, 1969-1970). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "The Perry Como Show" (NBC, 1955-59) and "Mr. Novak" (NBC, 1963-65). Heatherton was nominated for a New Star Of The Year - Actress Golden Globe Award in 1963. Later, he earned a role in "Bluebeard" (1972) with Richard Burton. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The Fifth Dimension Special: An Odyssey in the Cosmic Universe of Peter Max" (1969-1970), "Alan King in Las Vegas, Part I" (ABC, 1972-73) and "Jack Benny's First Farewell Show" (NBC, 1972-73). He also appeared in "The Bob Hope Show (04/19/73)" (NBC, 1972-73). He also acted in films like "The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington" (1977) and "The Perils of P.K." (1986). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The Perry Como Winter Show" (CBS, 1972-73) and "Doug Henning's World of Magic" (NBC, 1976-77). Heatherton more recently acted in the musical comedy "Cry Baby" (1990) with Johnny Depp.
