With a legacy of laughter-inducing roles, Professor Irwin Corey was known for his rich movie career. In the early stages of his career, Corey acted in comedies like "How to Commit Marriage" (1969) with Bob Hope and Jackie Gleason, "The Comeback Trail" (1972) starring Chuck McCann and "Car Wash" (1976). He also appeared in "Chatter Box" (1977) with Candice Rialson and Larry Gelman. He worked in television in his early acting career, including a part on "Doc" (1975-77). He kept working in film throughout the sixties and the eighties, starring in the Marlo Thomas comedy adaptation "Thieves" (1977), the Don Sparks fantasy "Adult Fairy Tales" (1978) and "Stuck on You!" (1983). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the fantastical comedy "Jack" (1996) with Robin Williams, the dramatic adaptation "I'm Not Rappaport" (1996) with Walter Matthau and "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" (2001). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour... Dangerous Comedy Liaisons" (1988-89). Corey last acted in "American Swing" (2009) with Helen Gurley Brown.
