Phil Cornwell was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Known for making audiences laugh, Cornwell began his acting career in comedies like "Large" (2001) and "Churchill: The Hollywood Years" (2004) starring Christian Slater. He also was featured in the miniseries "Gormenghast" (2000-01). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Midsomer Murders" (ITV 1, 1996). His film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like "Stella Street" (2004), "Chromophobia" (2006) with Penélope Cruz and "Scoop" (2006) with Scarlett Johansson. He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Doctor Who" (BBC, 2004-) and "Not Going Out" (BBC 1, 2006-2015). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the Michelle Pfeiffer romantic comedy "I Could Never Be Your Woman" (2008), the comedic drama "Made in Dagenham" (2010) with Sally Hawkins and the comedic adaptation "Alan Partridge" (2014) with Steve Coogan. He also was featured in the TV movie "The Shadow in the North" (PBS, 2008-09). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Misfits" (E4, 2009-2014)....
