George Harris was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Harris's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the George O'Brien western "Three Bad Men" (1926), the Arthur Pentelow drama "The Peace Game" (1969) and "The Broad Coalition" (1971). He also appeared in the Richard Gere romance "Yanks" (1979) and the adventure "The Dogs of War" (1980) with Christopher Walken. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the documentary "Vernon, Florida" (1981) with Claude Register, the fantastical comedy "The American Way" (1987) with Dennis Hopper and the dramatic comedy "Slaves of New York" (1989) with Bernadette Peters. He also appeared in "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" (1989) with Gene Wilder. He was a regular in the boy wizard blockbuster franchise "Harry Potter," appearing in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (2010), "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" (2011) and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (2007).
