That's because Sam is a ghost and Oda Mae is the only person who can talk to him. Sam wants to warn Molly about the danger she is in from his killer Carl (Tony Goldwyn), but has to get the goods on him first. This is the film that reminds you never to take love for granted and how much fun pottery can be.

When Omri opens the cupboard, a three-inch-tall living Indian named Little Bear emerges. Little Bear is from the Onondaga nation, which is part of the Iroquois confederacy; he's also from 1761, a time when his people are in danger of extinction. Omri hides Little Bear from his family and shares this secret only with his best friend, Patrick. Ignoring Omri's warnings, Patrick places a plastic cowboy inside the cupboard and another small being emerges--the cowboy Boone, who's from the 1870s, when the modern world is fast encroaching. The boys will soon discover the many startling consequences of their actions.

Eccentric millionaire John Hammond has invited three dinosaur experts see his new amusement park before it opens. The park is on an island off Costa Rica and is populated by actual, living dinosaurs that Hammond has created using DNA harvested from pre-historic insects. The scientists are joined by Hammond's two grandchildren during their preview of the park and the group is enjoying the tour in their computer-controlled cars until a storm knocks out power on the island. A park employee who wants to steal some of the dinosaur embryos takes advantage of the situation and sabotages the system, inadvertently causing the gigantic beasts to go on a rampage and forcing all the humans on the island to flee for their lives.

Henry is close to making his dream come true when his schooner, the Sea Serpent, suffers a mishap during a trial run, which lands him at the Hukilau Café where the regulars eye him with distrust when he sets his eyes on one of its patrons, the beautiful young Lucy Whitmore. Henry is immediately smitten with Lucy, and after a first chat with her about waffles and sea mammals, Henry finds himself more and more interested in Lucy. Ignoring his own rule about dating local girls, he makes a date to meet her for breakfast the next day. But when he arrives and makes a reference to their previous conversation, she thinks he's some kind of freak and calls for help. Lucy has no idea who he is. And Henry realizes that if he wants to win her affections, he's going to have to start over again every day for the rest of his life.
