Lillian Harmer worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Debuting in roles such as "A Shriek in the Night" (1933), "No Man of Her Own" (1933), and the Wallace Beery drama "The Bowery" (1933) was where Harmer began her career in film. Harmer made film her next project, appearing in the Carole Lombard comedy "Lady By Choice" (1934), "The Big Broadcast of 1936" (1935) with Jack Oakie and "Fugitive in the Sky" (1936). She also appeared in "Rainbow on the River" (1936), the musical "Make a Wish" (1937) with Bobby Breen and "The Great O'Malley" (1937). Toward the end of her career, Harmer acted in the adventure "The Prisoner of Zenda" (1937) with Ronald Colman.
