Marilyn Hare was the daughter of the famous Vaudevillian and early radio star Ernie Hare of The Happiness Boys, Jones & Hare. Marilyn took her fathers place at the young age of 16 years old teaming up with Billy Jones on early radio WEAF in New York until Billy Jones passing later that year. It was then that Marilyn was signed with Republic Pictures and moved to Hollywood. Marilyn made 9 feature films and hundreds of T.V. commercials as well as having her own T.V. show on KCOP channel 13 in Los Angles in the early fifties. She was guest commentator on the "Queen for a Day" show with Jack Bailey. Marilyn passed away in 1981 leaving behind three children.
