  • Ty Hardin was a Movie Star

Ty Hardin was one of the many contract stars at Warner Bros. when that studio was a major supplier of TV shows to the networks. Hardin was the star of Bronco. WB also cast Ty Hardin PT 109, Troy Donahue's Palm Springs Weekend, Merrill's Maurauders, Battle of the Bulge, and in George Cukor's The Chapman Report where the legendary director was said to be so smitten with the hunky star he threw the picture to Hardin ( Hardin did not reciprocate the feelings to Cukor). Hardin freelanced after WB and starred in Custer Of The West and had the pleasure of co starring with Miss Joan Crawford in Beserk who was a solid 30 years older than Hardin but did not deter Crawford being the leading lady.
