John Carlin worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Known for making audiences laugh, Carlin began his acting career in comedies like "Carry on Emmannuelle" (1978) with Suzanne Danielle and "George and Mildred" (1980) with Yootha Joyce and Brian Murphy. He had a part on the television special "Egan" (ABC, 1973-74). He also was featured in the miniseries "The Two Mrs. Grenvilles" (1986-87) and "Queenie" (1986-87). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Around the World in 80 Days" (1988-89). He also appeared in the TV special "Rumpole and the Barrow Boy" (PBS, 1989-1990). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "A Ghost in Monte Carlo" (TNT, 1989-1990). In the nineties through the early 2000s, Carlin lent his talents to projects like "Red Hot + Country" (The Nashville Network, 1994-95), the Bruce Willis and Timothy Olyphant smash hit "Live Free or Die Hard" (2007) and "30 for 30" (ESPN Network, 2009-). His credits also expanded to "Invictus" (2009) starring Morgan Freeman. Carlin most recently appeared on the documentary "Blood Brother" (2013) with Rocky Braat.
