A delightful actor
- John Klintworth
Edmund Gwenn is the wonderful actor best known for winning an Oscar for playing Kris Kringle in "Miracle on 34th Street". His charming personality bubbles through in most of his roles, the counterfeiter in "Mr. 880" and the older gent who falls in love with Mildred Natwick in Hitchcock's "The Trouble with Harry" as two prime examples. His first cousin was Cecil Kellaway, another character actor who also had an elfin charm.
