As a well-versed Russian entertainer, Olga Baclanova had a diverse career in the entertainment industry. Baclanova's film career can be credited to debut roles in "The Docks of New York" (1928), "The Man Who Laughs" (1928), and "The Wolf of Wall Street" (1929). Baclanova began to focus on film after appearing in the Beatrice Lillie comedy "Are You There?" (1930), "Downstairs" (1932) and the horror flick "Freaks" (1932) with Wallace Ford. She also appeared in "The Billion Dollar Scandal" (1933). Toward the end of her career, Baclanova acted in "Claudia" (1943) with Dorothy McGuire. Olga Baclanova passed away in September 1974 at the age of 75.
