BIOGRAPHY

Actor David Burke was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Early on in his acting career, Burke spent time on a variety of series with roles in "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "Crime & Punishment" (NBC, 1992-93) and "Party of Five" (Fox, 1994-2000). He also appeared in "The Cosby Mysteries" (NBC, 1994-95) and "The Crew" (Fox, 1995-96). Burke also contributed music to "The Johnsons Are Home" (CBS, 1987-88). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2000-2015), "Invisible Man" (Syfy, 2000-02) and "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the Matt Letscher drama "Straight-Jacket" (2004). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Castle" (2008-), "Nashville" (ABC, 2012-) and "How To Get Away With Murder" (ABC, 2014-). He also appeared in the comedy "A Thousand Words" (2012) with Eddie Murphy. Most recently, Burke acted on "NCIS: New Orleans" (CBS, 2014-).
