  Andy Griffith by far was one of the funniest mmen in the movies I would love to have a collection of his films.like No time for sargents I've been trying to find this movie for a long time. please Mr. Turner you have pull. please get the movie no time for sargents and make it available for sale. Ps. could you please start a turner classic network on the internet. so people can watch their favoret movies on their computers? Thank you your fan Sam

• Under rated as Ah Shucks kind of guy

  Andy Griffith, now in his early eighties, finally may be getting his due as an actor. In his role as Old Joe in Waitress, Griffith shows the depth of his acting as the irritating, friendless, landlord of Joe's Pies.Without him, the film would lack the complex mirror needed by an abused woman trekking a road soon to be lived with regrets. There is Oscar buzz that he may be nominated for this brilliant supporting rolein this unusual and fine film. It is odd that his performance, 50 years ago, in A Face in the Crowd was not nominated, as it was a stellar role that he filled with heartbreaking realism. It is time that this early pioneer of television also be recognized by the Academy as a fine film actor.
