    I never was a fan of slapstick fan and Mr. Goebel gave me the type of comedy at an early age that I knew I loved,there are alot of very successful comics since that owe this man a LOT of due credit. rest in peace Mr and Mrs Goebel and thank you for the memories and laughs.

    I remember seeing Lonesome George on TV when I was a kid. I really liked his sense of humor he captured my attention right off. I sometimes still bring up his name when the subject beloved long gone commedians are the subject of conversations. Although I can't recall any of his jokes, I can still remember his smooth delivery. Funny Guy !
