I've read in books about how Dorothy was a great comedienne. Yet I haven't been able to see proof. I would love it if TCM would show some of her comedienne films.

Always overshadowed by sister Lillian, Dorothy Gish had a major career in silent films with Orpahns of the Storm, Romola, and Nell Gwynne among her big hits. She appeared only sporadically after talkies came in, making her talkie debut in 1930 in Wolves with Charles Laughton.
