    Frances Gifford, first starring role was in 1941 in the cilff hanger serial Jungle Girl based on a Edgar Rice Burroughs novel (the creator of Tarzan), she then went on to costar with Johnny Weismuller in 1943 Tarzan Triumphs as a jungle princess who with Tarzan's help fights nazis that have taken over her city, tragically she was badly injured in a auto accident in 1948, she recovered, but was limted in her roles by her injuries, she worked in films till 1953, her last film listed was Sky Commando. She died in 1994, she was the sister of football great Frank Giffford, I will always remember her as the beautiful jungle queen.
