Actor Michael Genet was known for his roles on the silver screen. Genet began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "Simple Justice" (1989) with Cesar Romero, the dramatic adaptation "Presumed Innocent" (1990) with Harrison Ford and the comedy "One Fine Day" (1996) with Michelle Pfeiffer. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Hallelujah" (PBS, 1993-94) and "The Forget-Me-Not Murders" (CBS, 1993-94). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in the dramatic adaptation "25th Hour" (2002) with Edward Norton and the comedy "She Hate Me" (2004) with Anthony Mackie. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). Recently, he continued to act in "Dream Street" (2010) and the Michael Douglas drama sequel "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" (2010). Most recently, Genet acted on "The Mysteries of Laura" (NBC, 2014-).
